Weleda Calendula Weather Protection Cream Review and Giveaway

I love the Weleda brand so naturally when I was approached to try out a new Weleda baby product, I gladly accepted. I have to say I was extremely pleased with this product!

I am sure most of you mom’s and dad’s out there can understand when I say that this winter it was virtually impossible to keep gloves and hats on my little guy and of course I worried on those absolutely freezing cold days. Everytime he would come home from being out in the cold, his hands, chin (this was the worst because of all the drooling from teething) and cheeks were extremely red and very chapped which obviously upset me. I read up on the Weleda Calendula Weather Protection Cream and  I started putting it on those exposed parts and it really did help! Best part, it uses all natural products so you dont have to worry about chemicals on your little one’s sensitive skin.

Next winter, I highly recommend you try it out … this is a household must-have product in my books

I purchased this loiotn for my baby because I didn’t want anything with harsh chemicals in it. Well I definately received what I was looking for. I love this loiotn. It smells like an orangsicle and is not greasy or too heavy. I would definately recommend this product and am so happy there are actually people out there that care enough about our children to make a safe product for them.

I started using this 2 mhtnos ago in my second trimester because I love the all natural ingredients. At first the smell bugged me, just a tad to much of the citrus or orangey scent, but it has grown on me and now I love it. This belly butter goes on better than those oily kinds, it rubs in well, and if you just let it air dry for 20 seconds (before putting clothes on) it doesn’t feel sticky at all. I would definitely recommend this to my girlfriends. It keeps my skin moisturized, but as far as helping with the stretch marks, that remains to be seen! Update May 2010: Wanted to add that I never did get any stretch marks, maybe its genetic, maybe its the lotion.
