Frankie is at a great stage now where he can play by himself and is learning to use his imagination. A lot of my purchases these days are toys that will encourage him to use his imagination and even though they show a higher age recommendation, I don’t think it’s too early to start.
Being a PTPA blogger, I get the opportunity to test out products and blog about them. Recently, I was recently offered to try out a collectible dinosaur called the Carnegie Brachiosaurus. Up until that day, he had no idea what a dinosaur was and now he runs around the house screaming “dine-sor, dine-sor” (according to him the “o” is silent). The minute I gave it to him, his eyes lit up and no joke, he wouldn’t put it down, it came with us EVERYWHERE. Did I mention, this Dinosaur is 18.5″long and 7″high?!! This was a great way to introduce my little guy into the world of dinosaurs
What’s even more amazing (from a parents perspective) is that like all the Carnegie Dinosaur Collectibles, this dinosaur is authenticated by the paleontologists at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, home of one of the world’s largest collections of dinosaur fossils. Each Carnegie Dinosaur Collectible is individually hand painted, resulting in vivid designs that appeal to all imaginations (the fine details on this toy are truly impressive) and are lead free. Recommended age 3+
