Gazillions of Bubbles #Giveaway

Gazillion Bubbles

I’m pretty sure there is not 1 child out there that doesn’t love bubbles! I mean what is not to like, you pour liquid into a bowl and put a wand through it, blow and magically these pretty coloured bubbles appear.

Now I am going to age myself here, but when I was growing up the only kind of bubbles you could buy were the little plastic containers which came with a little wand that you had to stick your fingers into the liquid to search for and with this little plastic wand you could MAYBE get a good stream of 3 or 4 bubbles in a row from one blowing breath (you know exactly what I am talking about). Obviously, I was happier than anything just having bubbles to play with because I didn’t know any different … BUT NOW … you have battery operated bubble machines that consistently spit out hundreds of bubbles at once!!!!

Fisher-Price Launches a Bath and Body Line – Enter to #Win

Fisher-Price Bath and Body Products

I used to dread bath time with my first  … tiny little baby in water = slippery tiny little baby and so my husband was the only one to bathe him for the first few months until I was no longer freaked out about the whole thing. Second time around, got to say … not so scary. In fact, it is my favorite part of the day (or should I say it’s the most calm part of my day).

Post Bath Massage Using the Newborn Sensitive Skin Lotion

I seem to frequent the areas that have the kids/baby bath and body products to see what’s out there. I was recently introduced to Fisher-Price’s new line of bath and body products and I have to say, I am quite impressed. People get scared of large big brand companies launching these types of products, but I have to say so far I am thoroughly impressed with this line. I feel like they actually thought about all aspects of this line and have gotten the PTPA (parent tested parent approved) Seal of approval

PTPA Seal of Approval

First and foremost, all the products have ingredients I can actually understand which I know we all appreciate (Aloe, Chamomillia, Shea butter ..) this is not true for all bath and body products, trust me I check. These ingredients are gentle on the skin, there are no dyes, parabens, alcohol and phthalates (a salt or compound of phthalic acid .. YUK) and are tear-free.

Like their toys, Fisher-Price has made their bath and body products grow with the child meaning they have products for newborns, infant and toddlers with ingredients that are specific to the age of the child because at each stage your babies skin changes and the age the product is suited for is shown on each product

Fisher Price Bubble Bath

One other really cute feature that I love is that each product has a little word bubble with a cute little tip or game to play using the product) LOVE LOVE LOVE

Bath Time “FUN”

Lush FUN

This is one of those products that I think every parent should have!! Honestly speaking, bath time in my household could not be more FUN these days. In fact, my husband actually made a comment about what an amazing product this is and he NEVER comments on the products that I test for my blog.

Lush

With the start of the “terrible 2’s” came a fight every single time Frankie had (“had” being the operative word here)  to take a bath. I then remembered that I was given this new product to try called “FUN” by Lush, so I figured I would give it a shot. I added it to the bath and big bubbles appeared and the moment I said “BUBBLES” he instantly he wanted to go in – BRILLIANT right??!!!! Ok, so now you are wondering what is so special about this bubble bath …

First off (and one of the best features about the product), it is essentially Play-doh for the bath. Rip off a few pieces, wet it and they can mold it like Play-doh. Months before he tried to take actual Play-doh into the bath with him and obviously I wouldn’t let him telling him that Play-doh wasn’t a bath toy (he wasn’t too happy with me that night) and now he loves that he can play with his “special” putty in the bath (I didn’t want to call it Play-doh as that would probably just confuse him).

Another great feature is that it is an all-in-one product: hair wash, body wash and you can even wash your clothes with it.

A personal fave feature is that it smells so yummy! I have only tried yellow (vanilla), orange (orange – shocker) and green (lime) – there are a few more colours to try like blue and pink and those are my list to buy next.

Lush Fun

Trying to figure this whole FUN product out

Lush Fun

Love at first sight!

Something to know: the bubbles dissipate after about 15 minutes. I actually like it because when he gets out of the bath he is not covered in bubbles, but some might want more bubbles for longer.

Where to Buy: Lush stores or online http://www.lush.ca/
Price: $6.95 + tax

Happy bath time = happy mommy :)
