Don’t Forget about Family Time #StreamTeam

So you blinked and it somehow turned into fall! The kids went back to school, the after school programs started, the weekend programs started which means in my house one parent takes the older and one person takes the younger and after a crazy week of running around you realize that you have spent little to no time with two members of your group of 4 and there is no time to catch up.

Welcome to my life! So what do I do? I find Netflix television shows and movies that we can all agree on (that is no easy task these days), sit down on the couch in our pjs and make a bag of popcorn and just hang out together. It’s pretty much my favourite part of the day.

Where to Start? Check out these great family titles

September Netflix Titles– Maleficent
– Zootopia (The kids LOVE this one and frankly so do I)
– Planes: Fire & Rescue
– Tangled
– The Princess and the Frog
– Treasure Planet
– Cool Runnings
– Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Don’t forget to take some time out of your busy schedules to sit down as a crew and put on some of the newest Netflix shows on.

The Last Drop of Summer #Netflix #StreamTeam

How it is already the first week of August is beyond me?!!! With all this cold weather the last few weeks, I feel like we skipped right over  Summer and went straight to Fall (tear sniff). So, while the weather is cooperating and there are only a few weeks left until September, now is the time to get inspired and squeeze out the last little drop of summer that is left. This month, Netflix has titles which will help inspire you to get out and cross off the last few things on your “to do” summer list.

Big Kid

Big Kid Netflix Titles1. The Adventures of Tintin
2. Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
3. Tad: The Lost Explorer
4. The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure
5. National Treasure
6. Labou and the Quest for the Lost Treasure

Little Kid

Little Kid Netflix Titles

1. Dora the Explorer
2. Wild Animal Baby Explorers
3. Tree Fu Tom
4. Rubbadubbers: Tubb’s Pirate Treasure
5. A Turtle’s Tale: Sammy’s Adventures
6. The Hive

Dora the Explorer is always a staple in our house. It is a great, educational show where she has your little one come along on her outdoor adventures and encourages participation by repeating her Spanish words, asking questions and giving the little one’s a few seconds to answer and best of all, has the kids moving around.

Sticking with the Dora the Explorer theme, here’s a great craft that will be a lot of fun for the little explorers with big imaginations out there

Enjoy the last drop of summer and try to make the most of it!!!
